Life is what you make of it. You can sweat the small stuff or opt for self-care and a healthy living. Start looking after yourself properly and everything else will be just a little bit easier. Talk a walk, eat healthy food and try to get a good night’s sleep. It’s not going to solve all your problems but avoiding self-sabotage and adopting a more positive attitude will help.

Healthy Living And Self-Care
The mind and how we look after ourselves are a big part of living a healthy lifestyle. You can try and look after the physical body by eating healthy food, exercising and limiting bad habits, but without safe-guarding mental health most goals will fail.
A healthy mind is so often over-looked. We just say we’re stressed out without any thought of what this means.
Today’s society bombards us with information. It takes a lot of discipline to filter out the junk and get through day-to-day life without being over-whelmed and over-thinking.
There’s just too much information available. It’s remarkable anyone achieves anything!
Sometimes it’s important to take a step back. Think about what you need to know, what you want to get involved in and block out the rest.
Sometimes it’s as if people are incapable of learning from their mistakes. We fail at the same point over and over again. Start a healthy living regime. eat healthy food, exercise, feel terrific, then some small negative element pops up it’s ugly head.
Just something small. An unkind word perhaps, the extra glass of alcohol that led to several more and a big piece of chocolate cake. Instead of walking up the next morning and thinking okay I’ll do some extra exercise today to make up, the spiral of self-sabotage begins.
Healthy living will always fail unless you start with the mind. Find your support group. Surround yourself with the type of person you want to be and avoid bad influences. Exercise self-care and self-love. It’s the key to stopping self-sabotaging behaviour.
